You can have a great personality, lots of material "stuff", be a total success in the world's
eyes but still be lost. You can be on the other side of the spectrum with no personality, totally mad and
bitter with life, have little or no "stuff" and be a failure in your eyes or the eyes of others. In reality
you are probably in between somewhere. I have seen misery in all these cases. Wherever you are, life can beat
you down if you don't have hope... and
love. So where can we find real hope... and love?
not love does not
because God is love.
This is why we're called Love
Never Fails. Because God IS love and He never fails, even when things are rough and we think He has failed us its
just not true. Jesus told us in this world we will have trials, but He overcame the world and is teaching us
the same thing. This world does not have power over us unless we give it
Our Power to Overcome and live a good life
comes from our belief. So when I read these things in the Bible about myself and what God did for
me, do I believe them? Really believe them? My true beliefs create my actions. If I believe its cold outside,
I put a coat on. If I believe its going to rain, I act accordingly. Do I do this with what God says, do
I act accordingly? For example:
2 Corinthians 5:21 (NIV)
21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that
in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Righteous to the world can mean perfect or morally right or justifiable;
virtuous... then there is 'self righteous' which religion can cause. That's where the "holier than thou"
attitudes can begin if we don't learn the truth. Righteous in the Bible means to have a right standing with God.
Again, its something HE does for us. Its not something we can earn by obeying rules or being 'good enough'. If we
are honest with ourselves we know we make mistakes, we're selfish and we blow it... sometimes on
purpose. But Biblical righteousness comes from God as a gift. Romans 3:22 says, "This righteousness is
given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe."
So once we get it in our heads that we are righteous in God's eyes we are free to love. Here is what the
Bible says love is...
1Corinthians 13 "If I
speak with the tongues of
men and of angels, but do not
have love, I have
become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.
patient, love is kind
and is not jealous;
love does not brag and is
not arrogant, does not
act unbecomingly; it does not
seek its own, is not
provoked, does not take into
account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in
unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there
is knowledge, it will be
done away. For we know in part and we
prophesy in part; but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away.
When I was a
child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man,
I did away with
childish things. For
now we see in a
mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known.
But now faith, hope,
love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love."
So again we say, "The one who does not love does not
know God, for God is love."
So now you know why we're here. Love
Never Fails... we want to help you through any pain you're going through by bringing you to God though His son
Jesus. It may not seem like it in
the moment but He never fails. I heard a Pastor say in his teaching one
time, "You can learn to please God with one word. That word is 'whatever'." I said 'what?' It's not the
derogatory kind of 'whatever' you might say when you're mad or the 'whatever' that slips out of your mouth
when your boss tells you not to be late again.
It's the 'whatever' you would use when you're
so beaten down you don't know where to turn.
It's the 'whatever' you whisper when you are
really searching, and you will do
'whatever' it takes to get right with God... when you truly know the meaning of Broken... When
you've screwed up so bad you know God or your spouse or your child or your friend should never forgive you.
When you feel so small there is nothing left you can find to be proud of. It's the whatever you say to God
when there is nothing left in you that you can call good.
It's then you say, "Whatever you want from me Lord, I will
do it. Whatever you want... I surrender, I am yours."
Now take a look at 2 Cor 5:17-21
17 Therefore, if anyone is in
Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through
Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19
that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins
against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal
through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so
that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
We are here to appeal to you
come to God... to be reconciled to God. How??? Grace
means unmerited, undeserved favor. We are raised in a society that rewards good behavior and punishes bad
behavior. Even in our churches it's preached that we need to REPENT or we won't go to heaven! The truth is we
will never be good enough and a lot of the time we don't
feel good enough to even approach God because our behavior mentality won't let us so we think,
if I'm never good enough, why try?
But at the same time, right now, He is full of grace and wants to be reconciled to you. He wants to bring you
from a state of unbelief to a state of belief. It's Jesus sacrifice
on the cross that makes that possible, not our behaviour. Verse
21 above says God made him who had no sin to be sin for
us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. You were created to be with God.
God wants to have that special, intimate relationship with you and trade your sin for
His righteousness. Remember the word righteousness does not mean self righteous or holier than
thou, it means to have a right relationship with Him. So we implore you, we
beg you to make that step, BELIEVE... talk to Him
and trust Him to restore your relationship with Him. If you want to learn more on being born
again, Look Here...
Love Never Fails because God is Love and He never fails. You may be in a place of misery, despair, not
knowing which way to turn. You can get through whatever it is you are going through. He is the very creator
and essence of love and He loves you very, very much.
You won't find true love until you find that
personal relationship with Him. We are here to help you find Him! Its our desire to move you in such a
way that you really "get it". If you want us to pray for you just let us know
We hope and pray you'll find what you're really looking for.... Jesus.
Because Love Never Fails...
